Door Panel

I purchased new interior door panels last year for my 75B.  The panels are
the ones with the metal (chrome) strip running horizontal.

Problem the strip has come separated from the panel, I have tried several
types of glue to stick it back, even clamped it, but it doesn't want to
stay.

Any ideas of how to re attach the strip?
