I travel quite a bit for business, and I like to visit the local Borders
and Barnes and Nobles to peruse the automotive books. I was very distressed
recently to find a new Original MGB on the shelf at Borders in Syracuse for
$19.95, after I just purchased one from one of the Brit suppliers. VB has
it listed for $46.00. Also, I had tried to order one from Barnes and Noble,
but it "didn't show up in their computer, therefore it doesn't exist". This
is after I pointed out that they had numerous other volumes of the Original
series on the shelf.

The good news at Borders was that a young lad of about 16 had pulled out
the MG Enthusiast mag and then appeared at the book shelf and pulled out
Clausager, Lindsay Porter, Jim Tyler's book and a few others. He said he
had a B and was ready to go to work on it. I was happy to see a young guy
not wasting $ on earrings, baggy pants, etc. He had his priorities
straight.
