Classic symptoms of a weak mixture. Hows your SU fuel pump doing?? How
old is you fuel?? Did you put any of that fuel stabilizer into the
tank, and run the car until the mix got to fill the carbs?? BTW, fuel
stabilizer is cheap insurance to protect your carbs, etc from varnish.
TTUL8r, Kirk Cowen (who's Honda XL 250 runs at idle, wide open, but
won't run worth a damn mid-range... it's too lean)
