Actually, from the model number you gave, I would guess you already
HAVE the non-resistor plugs. All the NGK resistor-type plugs I've
seen have an 'R' after the "BP" in the model number, e.g. BPR6ES vs
BP6ES, etc.
I agree with you about "gizmo" plugs, with one exception--I think
there is something to be said for platinum plugs. Granted, I have
had cars that they didn't do well in, but my 'B's not one of them.
