If you were not there, I regret to inform the show event went on with
out you. This was, by far, the best organized event I have ever
attended. From the "MGs Only" parking area at the hotel with over 220
MG in it, to the many events including: Funkhana, Historic Tour,
Auction, Rally, Valve Cover Racing (Thanks to Emeral Necklace MG
Club)and of course the show which had over 300 MGs on the field. There
were 14 MGB V8s there.
The Banquet was magnificant with Mr Rick Ingram's speech being the high
point of the evening. He told of our loss of Dick Criswell and asked
for a moment of silence. The food, magic show, award presentations and
most of all the company of fellow enthusiasts were an experience I will
never forget. It was truely a "magical" evening.
Buffalo Octagon MG Car Club must be commended for putting together a
great weekend. I for one, recognize the huge effort that goes into
staging an event as large as this one. They also were blessed with
perfect weather. Not one detail was overlooked. Thanks yo all that had
a hand in this one. :-) :-) :-) I'm looking ahead to Maryland next
year.
