been held up for a while in the hospital but i am back trying to make my
betsy (td)
as good as she can be.
have two questions
1. is there a drop in alternator (65 amp would be fine) that would fit nicely
into
the generator spot in the td ?? putting sound, fogs. high mounted stop
lights,
and all sorts of other stuff really brings the generator to its knees.right
now the
dash mounted voltmeter hardly gets to 14.0 volts in the daytime, and never
above 12.5 with lights on. must check the tightness of the fan belt. funny i
just
now thought of that.

2. has someone out there replaced the mechanical fan with an electrical one.
if you take the fan and spacer off there is loads of room to fit a sucking
type of
fan in there. really want to go ahead on this one.

for those out there who don't think what i'm doing to betsy is nice i
  say
its only a car and a poorly designed one to say the least, so anything
done
to make her happy is the way to go. she is no investment pig she is what
makes me happy.
