To improve on the best driving trips I've had, on curvy roads in hilly country:

A permanent four wheel drive

A very light body to get a low centre of gravity.


BTW on Top Gear I once saw a new B-body on a shortened Range Rover chassis, 
plowing 
through a field. The guys in the UK wanted to make a business out of it, I 
think they sold them for 
around $20.000. Has anyone heard of this venture?
