I bought my first MG purely on impulse when I was but 18. When I
drove it home and showed my Dad, he hit the roof and started talking
about irresponsibility, etc. Not about to let his words bring down my
excitement, I offered him a ride (besides, I paid cash. I couldn't
take it back!). Afterwards, he just said "OK, you can keep it."
Apparently, he had a Datsun roadster when he was younger, and loved it
too! Like Father, like Son!
