I hope Trevor is not now a member of a local MG (or LBC) club, cause if
so he has resigned by now. The reason? Nobody spends all their time
talking about MG's.
At my club's monthly meetings, I dare say that 60-75% of the subjects
being discussed in the parking lot during the "TKBS" (Tire Kicking,Bull
S**t) session are not directly related to LBC. The discussion may have
started that way, but friendly people who like to interelate with other
friendly folk, sometime go off on tangents. Whoopee, big deal.
In a way, this list is like a club, and sometimes the subjects go off on
tangents. For the most part interesting tangents. If I find it's not so
to me at any rate , I have a key marked "delete". works great, and I
simply pass over those threads following.
Prime example: the ongoing thread regarding Frank Zappa/Deep Purple.
Franklly(no pun intended) I'm no Zappa fan, but the trivia is
interesting.
The biggest thing is, NO ONE is missing out on getting the needed
info/help/advice (good, bad, otherwise) from the list.
  Relax, and enjoy
