B in my
yard, looking it over trying to decide whether it is worth saving. Needs
complete
mechanical overhaul, new interior, floor pans and rockers, plus door skins.
pretty common in the northeast, I think. What worry's me is that the steel plate
between the leaf spring mount and floor is rotted. Is this common? is it much of
a job to replace, assuming I can handle the other work? Another question i have
concerns the engine. He claims it is a 5-main, but it has a mech. tach drive on
the block, it's a 18G engine, is'nt that a 3-main?
