We have found that a good rule of thumb is 165 lbs. compression is
approximately 9:1 compression ratio. (Which we have also found is the
highest our LBCs can safely handle using 92 Octane gas; any higher and
octane booster additives or retarding the timing - with the problems that
brings - are required)
