Hi Dave,
On our TD, I tightened all the scuttle bolts (need long arms or a
helper) and found that the scuttle shake was reduced to a fraction of
what it had been. Judging from the dirt/paint on the bolts they had not
moved, so my assumption is that the wooden pieces compressed over the
years.
Did you make it to Hill-Stead?
