Steve Linder, a member of the Texas MG Register, just installed a 5 =
speed into his midget. Some of you may remember Steve's othe MG. A '64 =
B, light blue. It took first place in its' class at MG '96 in Indy! He =
does things right. Anyhow, he wrote an article on the installation. =
It's on the Web. Take a look at
www.tmgr.com
That should help!

Hi All,
a friend asked if I could seek the wisdom of the "Midget
afflicted" [No reference to Susans SO here] ;-) concerning a suitable
replacement gearbox for his M.G. Midget daily driver, the original box =
has
been fixed twice this year and it sticks in second gear again! He wants =
to
fit a gearbox that works; and if it has an overdrive 5th gear, so much =
the
better.

TIA

Scotty,
Adelaide,Oz.
