I agree with Carol as well, on the too great influence of gov in our 
lives. But #1 the law as currently figured will NOT interfere with the 
free use of the internet. It is set up so that a group (i.e. ISP, group 
of listers, etc.) makes a complaint and the spammer gets kicked. There 
must be a complaint first!
#2 the gov did not set up the rating system for TV, the Networks and 
producers did. Yea the gov was going to but they accepted what the 
Hollywod guys did first. 
And again as far as regulating content on the internet what did the 
"conservative" Supreme Court say about the Communications Decency Act?
