A lot has happened to my 67 Roadster since I left the list back in May.
The carbs have been rebuilt. And the electrical system converted. Now I
run negative earth (gasp!) with an alternator and electronic ignition.
(I can now drive for hours with the lights, radio, heater and wipers
going and not worry about the dead battery.) Unfortunately, I haven't had
much chance to drive it. I've been working out of town so often, I
missed nearly every car event this summer. Although I did stop by the
British car day when I was in Austin earlier this month. Nice cars,
unbeliveably hot. Today, I installed a refurbished British Motor
Corporation AM radio and it sounds great. So I now have a clean,
completely-working positive earth version for sale, if anyone's
interested. The only thing left on my list is my final smog test. (My
registration's up in December) and a few small jobs to get the car ready
for what's supposed to be a rough winter. I'll have lots of questions.
Consider yourselves warned.
