I used this stuff on my Interceptor to no effect; except ,as I have stated
before, to draw a rumbling chuckle from the demon that lives in the inferno
that is a 440 stuffed way back and down in a British car. That said, I later
deduced that my radiator cap was not holding pressure. I'm sure someone can
spout off the pounds equal degrees formula for a pressurized system. Also,
Water Wetter says on the bottle that you should not use more than something
like 25% antifreeze, for the Water Wetter to work as promised. Yet, my
Jensen handbook and manual says that because of the Air Conditioner a 50/50
mix is best. Then again, most Jensen specialist state 25% make the optimum
coolant. Sheeet, it's not like I don't get confused easily enough to begin
with.
So, proper radiator cap, upgraded fans, and 25% mixture later, the car
does not overheat in 100F weather -- not confused with the car being hot.
It's still DAMNED hot.
