Dr. Macy,

SNIP>
When we left the restaurant I noticed a puddle of
antifreeze under the Midget. Damn - I just had the rad out and replaced
the water pump. Crawled under the front and found that the lower Rad hose
was leaking from the hose clamp area. Tried to tighten it but the clamp
is too rusted.

INSERT> You are truly a man after my own heart ... last time I went through
all the bother of removing the radiator, having it boiled and fixed, and
replacing the water pump, I also neglected to renew one of the $.59 hose
clamps and used the old rusty one instead!!!!! My excuse is that I'm cheap -
what's yours???

Man did I have a great ride!! Too bad those other wimps (Dr. Doug) didn't
have their tops down. That made the drive all the more exhilarating.

INSERT> Yeah, yeah, yeah stop whining and acting like it was raining or
something. Today, after my Polar Bear Swim Club meeting, I used opened toe
ice skates and orange balls to play golf - of course, I played in my Bermuda
shorts and drove to the course with the top down in the sleet and rain!!!

But I hear you about those wimps in Southern CA and San Antonio who don't know
the real thrill of driving a LBC in cold wet miserable weather - Wimps!!!!!!

Sorry so long But I had a blast. The cold air mad it all the better!!!

INSERT> So after you pried your frozen stiff fingers off the steering wheel
did you go inside and grab a cold one???
