I guess I was just being too defensive after the first post referred =
only to T's B's And A's. But your post does bring up  the issue of  =
Magnettes, pre-war cars, 1300's, F's RV8's, Metro's etc. - like 'em or =
not, they're MGs.    =20

Hi Phil,
  Not at all were we wishing to leave out the Midgets.  All the T-series
cars _were_ Midgets. Their real names were   MG Midget Series TD, etc.=20
When the T series was started, there was a larger series known as
Magnette, a name that was used after WWII for the saloons.
