After acquiring a second hand Miata, complete with dings in every panel, I
took it to a paintless dent removal shop called Mr. Dent.

For about CAN$125.00 (about US$1.25 ?) he successfully removed all dents
from the steel panels, without any paint damage. The only exception was on
the hood (bonnet), which is aluminum, which he said was not conducive to his
tools and methods because the dents were "too sharp" and the material too
soft.

I highly recommend this method of repair.
