Thanks for the info. I'm measuring 15 degrees with the strobe at 1000 rpm, so
looks like it's in good shape. I agree with the 600 rpm remark. Why do the
shop manuals tell you to set the idle at 600 rpm when the engines won't
run that slow? (Same thing with the TD.)
