I'm guessing your problem is the needles. When it happened to me, I was
lucky to have the parts car because I had another set of needles to try
when my grose jets failed (Now I keep a spare set on hand, for such
emergencies). You really can't tell for sure without substituting spare
ones. Are there any other nearby MG owners that would let you switch
with thiers to check?
