Hey Listers-

I've got way too many cars and am thinking about thining the fleet by a
few. I just sold one of my Minor pickups, the one without running gear, to
a fellow who already has a new 1275 and disc brakes installed and will be
starting on the body soon. I have another pickup that we have owned since
1987 that runs great and is all original, right down to the grey paint but
needs a cosmetic restoration and a new home. I am the third owner and know
all history from new.

It is a movie car that is to be seen in Austin Powers and What's Love Got
To Do With It (the Ike and Tina Turner movie) as well as a number of
commercials for Pepsi, Mazda and Peugeot and a few episodes of Murder She
Wrote for TV. You can see a faint picture of it in the Austin Powers
article on the Toyota Cars & Culture website < www.carsandculture.com >.

1961 Morris Minor Pickup

948 engine; stock, balanced and built by Joe Huffacker Racing a number of
years ago but car was primarily in storage between 1987 and 1992 and then
used a few times a week locally alternating with five other cars since.
Carb gone through and electronic ignition recently from Peters Marina
Motors in Venice CA.

Rebuilt "silver seal" ribcase trans from Mini Mania at the same time, still
works great

Vega 13" wheels with Michelin 70 series rubber in great shape.

Recent brakes (stock) and clutch from Peters Marina Motors, Venice

Body is original. Cab is extra nice with only some minor body work to redo
old inferior work in the left front fender, no rust on body or floors!
Original truck style front bumper and pan - box is another story - slight
rust through over rear fender arches and over tail lamps (pretty much
standard on unrestored trucks) and assorted bangs and scrapes on the sides
and corners. Solid and dent free floor and wheel wells and a near perfect
tail gate. New windscreen and seal as well as other seals and window felts.
Seats redone in black (stock pattern) and brand new, never installed deluxe
'67 sedan door panels from Mini Mania.

Will consider the best offer over $2,500. No trades (well, unless it is
REAL COOL). Stock wheels, tyres and hubcaps available for those purists
who will only settle for original. I also have a bunch of extras for it
like new correct glove box liners, Sedan glove box doors, AM/FM radio.
