The March Grassroots motorsports has an article comparing a bunch of
ragtops including MGB, TR6, Pininfarina 2000, Alfa Spider, Elan, and
Datsun Roadster. They were complimentary about all of thew cars, but the
big winner was the MGB...imagine that....
"As you can see, picking thw winner in thhis group was nearly
impossible. America loves a winner, however, so the winner is...the
MGB.......because the MGB did the most with the least. An MGB is most
likely the most common car here, but it still felt, looked, and sounded
right....."
That explains that smug look we all have.... :-)
