Hello fellow OFers:
I propose that what we need is a not a club but an Order. The
International Order Of Old Farts. This way we can have degrees of
membership from Knight 7th Class up to Knight First Class, followed by
Commander in various degrees and culminating in Knight Commander or Grand
Commander in several degrees. Appropriate insignia could be worn at
official functions with miniatures for undress occasions. I am sure that
an enterprising member could design badges, crosses and neck ribbons of
various degrees of importance in order to suitably announce the status of
the wearer.
Business cards could state the status following the name such as:
Sir Morris Mowog, KCOF (Knight Commander Old Fart) etc.
Anyone else have any suggestions?
