Hi Jason,
  I understand the feeling. Sometimes it seems like one damn thing after
the next, varied by the occasional same damn thing over and over.
  But I try to think of it this way--the car is xx (20) years old. What
else could you be driving that is of the same age that either runs at
all, or is worth messing with.  
  These cars are repairable. While it's unfortunate that we test that
condition often, the fact is that we can keep them going. And,
eventually, most of these niggling little things will be done and you
will realise that you have just put on 2000 happy trouble-free miles and
it's time to change the oil again.
