Dave,

You'll find a pretty good treatise on wire wheel maintenance and repair on the
Scions of Lucas web page. http://www.team.net

You'll find the article under the Technical and Repair Information topic.

I have 72 spoke chrome wire wheels (Dayton brand) on my MGA. I understand
the importance of keeping the spoke properly tightened to keep the wheel
round, etc, from way way back when I tighten the spokes on my bicycle until
they were really snug, andthe wheels were shaped like a pretzel. (Okay... I
was 10 years old!)

Assuming that it's fairly complicated, where do I find out about proper
methods, and how often should it be done? Should a "pro" do it? Is more
required than a spoke wrench? I doubt that it matters, but I have Dunlop
bias-ply tires mounted.
Thanks in advance.
