78 MGB Radio Problem

Well the car has been running great but today it developed a new glitch.  When
you hit the brakes the radio goes out - read out goes blank.  It usually goes
right back on even though I continue braking.  Sometimes it doesn't go out but
more often than not it does.  Sometimes when it goes out it stays off for 15
or 20 seconds before coming back on.  Any ideas or has anyone experienced
anything like this?  As usual all help is greatly appreciated.
