So I went into the DMV today with my out of state registered '70 MGB and it
wasn't so bad. After verification, proof of insurance and a valid OR
registration they charged me US 64 and I was out the door. No smog, no 300 out
of state registration
fee. Nada. Blessed be the lawmakers.

PS Since the Speedo comes off the tranny, is there a special OD Speedo? I put
in a OD/tranny and hooked it up to my speedo. I am wondering if the speedo
reads correctly in OD? I also have large tires, which is further confounding
the measurement.
