Re; my 1979 MGB - LE
Ok, you've all convinced me! My master cylinder is hooped. I ordered a
Master cylinder kit today ($26.95) compared to $249.95 Can. and it will be
arriving on Friday. I have rebuilt them in the past, but NOT on an MGB.
Does anyone have any suggestions/instructions for me to follow? How
difficult is it on an MGB? Any special tools, other than a hone, needed?
I did the one on my Hillman last fall and it has worked perfectly ever
since.
Thanks for any advice/help offered.
By the Way, I am looking for a rust-free body for my B , or alternatively,
would be willing to sell it to someone who needs the parts. It is a 1979
Limited Edition (Canadian - 174 of 250). Good mechanically, but very rusty
underneath.
