Calif limits are lower than the ones you listed
My B is a 79 with 93,000 miles with I think the original engine and an empty
cat!!
I had the stromberg rebuilt 1 1/2 years ago and I colortuned it to light
blue ,changed the oil and filter and put Texaco system 3 premium in it
before going so it looks like preparation is a good thing!
