Only dynamo (generator) cars (Midget will be only pre 72 cars not sure about
a B but will be late 60's ) will have a voltage regulator? I had just this
problem - then realized that the bulb was loose thus not illuminating!!!!
So the brake light comes on in the dash?

Just a thought (sorry I haven't seen all the thread ).
