I was at the local automotive paint store yesterday asking about do it
yourself paint jobs. The young gent behind the desk offered up that it I
wanted to do this, I had best buy the materials in the next month or so
since changes in the VOC laws (Minneapolis, MN) would meant that the newer
paints would be much harder to spray and nearly impossible to dry without
an oven. Anyone else hear about this or know anything? I asked if this
change was just local or national and said young fellow thought it was
nation wide.
I have one paint project now and am looking at acquiring a second one. If
DIY painting is going the way of the buffalo, however, it could change my
plans considerably.
The wisdom of the list would be greatly appreciated.
