I know this is going overboard asking a question like this and I don't
intend to offend the purists so sorry if I inadvertantly do.
BUT... I was reading in a magazine here about a Mini Cooper S (BMC) that had
a Twin Cam head conversion by a company called KAD in the UK (along with 4
piston, ventilated discs etc etc). I'm just interested in this and was
wondering if they also had a B series equivalent. This particular car had
Twin Cam 16V Heads (Ford Cosworth), Vernier Gear, Throttle body Fuel
injection and produced something like 135hp from 1300cc (!). Very
interesting stuff on a Mini!!!
So what I'm getting at is has anyone heard of people doing Twin Cam
conversions on B's if so is there any reading material available/on the Web?
Very unlikely that I'd do this myself, just found it a very interesting
article! :) I've read plenty about enhancing the existing head, fitting
Crossflow heads etc but this Twin Cam is a new one on me. The Fuel injection
was also very interesting. If anyone o/s wants further info I can scan some
pages for them.
