This is for a friend of mine, you can contact me if you need to know
anything else.

The good parts:
Round wheel-arch Midget
53k miles showing
Solid sills/rockers, no rust at the springs, straight and clean,
newer top (clear windows),carpet (including trunk) and interior panels
brakes, clutch OK,
all lights, wipers, electrical bits work OK,
Chrome is good,
SU's
Starts without smoke
Runs smooth
newer paint, looks good.

The not-so-good parts:
It has a broken right leaf spring (may be replaced)
A dime-sized hole in drivers footwell (only rust defect I could find.)
Paint color is not original (it was blue before, but a bit lighter)
There's a crack in the dash, on top. One of those covers should take care
of this.
Missing right window winder.

The Indifferent stuff:
It's a 74
Rostyles
Air pump missing, evaporative loss control stuff still in place.
Missing the big rubber blocks on the front bumpers, still has 'em in back.
I think it's supposed to have black sill covers, if so, they're gone.
Tires decent.
GAN5 144XXX (1/74 build, I think.)

It's in Minnesota (just north of the Twin Cities)
If you ask real nice and aren't going very far, you could probably borrow a
trailer or maybe even talk him into towing it home for you. If the spring
gets fixed, I see no reason you couldn't drive it.

He'd take something around $2000, I'm sure. I think he'll be asking a bit
more.

Mk1 Midget
(and a spouse who insists there's no room for more)
