If you do, and you don't have a separate ground, be sure to ground the
pump to the body.

I used a piece of conveyor belt material to insulate mine; helped some
but the material should have been softer.  A friend suggested using a set
of GM wiper motor mounting grommets.  New ones can be had in the "Help"
section of odds and ends in almost any US chain parts store for just a
couple of bucks.
