Hi folks,
Help! Getting closer to putting the 77 on the road. Newest puzzle is the
wiper motor. It doesn't want to quit! Not a matter of poor parking, this is
just no parking. Installed a new wiper/washer switch to go along with the new
wiring harness so it's unlikely that it's a faulty electrical configuration.
The wiper motor is a 14W but it doesn't quite match the exploded view as
seen in Figure 10.18 of Haynes. There is no Limit switch screw (#10). The
limit switch is there and it is actuated by a cam area on the bottom of the gear
wheel. The switch is normally open and closes while in contact with the cam.
Anybody been here before? TIA.
