Kenneth,

Itoo have towing insurance, and it's a lot better than AAA. You
haven't thought it through, though. I towed my B to VT, with a week's
delay on CApe Cod, behind my motorhome so I could drive it in the hills
(they call them mountains, HAH!) with the top down to enjoy the fall
colors. Now, once I had it in VT, I hadda tow it back, right? (G) The
reason I left the shaft in was so I could drive it immediately on
demand. If I'd had to pull the DS every time I wanted to use the car
I'd have been under it over a dozen times. The mere thought is
apalling, especially since it wasn't necessary.

What gets me about the "other camp" is that despite plenty of
anecdotal evidence to the contrary no instructions in the manuals to
support them, they stick to their guns. Now they're sayin my tranny is
gonna fail, maybe 10 years from now, because I towed it with the DS in.
Go figure.

  CR
