you missed my point. What I meant was, that at the lower RPM all of the
moving parts are 
rubbing together HARDER to develop the same force needed to push your
car...
You are using fewer, stonger explosions per mile ...
kinda like on a ten speed bike, which is going to be harder on your
legs.... 1st gear, or 10th gear ?
