Just got my Moss BGT headliner kit today and I was so disappointed. I
asked about and was told that it was all formed as per original, and
when I got my shipment I new something was seriously amiss. The
shipping box was 1 foot by 1 foot by 4 feet. Sure enough, the friggin'
headliner was rolled up inside and was two pieces, foam and vinyl! For
those of you whom have not had the pleasure of removing your headliner,
the original is a pressed and formed glass-fiber board.

To make matters worse, the front and side rail covers were just bits of
upholstery vinyl, not vacuum molded vinyl as original. I've not been so
disappointed in a long time. I specifically asked them before tearing
out my existing stuff. To be fair, they are crediting my account for
shipping both ways and COD charges.

The moral of the story is that if your headliner is in decent shape,
don't replace it. So much for my complete interior restoration.
Fortunately, my headliner and rear hinge cover are in good shape and can
be covered in new vinyl, along with the rail covers and posts. It'll be
hell-a-cheaper too.

I also got the replacement dash today and it looks cheezy and
plasticky. Am I expecting too much?
