Listers;
Noticed while starting the 77B this week (first for the year) that my
battery cut off switch must be dirty, it is somewhst erratic, works but
very sensitive. The car even stopped at one point but because the clock
also did I noticed that this was the culprit.
It is a Lucas Switch located behind the passenger seat (towards battery
box) with a removable handle so as to prevent unwanted starting of the
car. How do I go about cleaning this switch? Is there a contact spray
cleaner (whisper WD40?) maybe that could be used or shall I have to
strip this unit to clean it? Any advice, specific or not greatly
appreciated.

Best Wishes & Safety Fast
