I've heard inthe past that you should only 20W50 in the tranny of an A
series. But if you have a 1500 (like me) you need an Extreme Pressure gear
oil (supposed to be 90W, but I've only been able to find 85W). Don't
remember the diffy requirements.

I know this question has been answered many times before, but I wasn't
paying attention, I guess. What would you use in the transmission and
differential on a '79 B. 20W50 oil, and 90W gear lube, respectively, or is
there something better?
