Ross,

I shipped a hard top from Baton Rouge to Illinois a few months ago.  I
found a shipping company in the yellow pages.  They boxed it up and
shipped it truck freight, for a total of about $130.  The buyer paid the
shipping.   You might also try Greyhound, I shipped a bonnet that way,
relatively inexpensively, although only from Texas to Louisiana. Seattle
to Massachusetts is quite a bit farther, so hopefully you'll find
someone to drive it there for you.
