from Clausager, p. 60, 18GK-(R)We-H means cars 219001-256646, engine numbers
possible are 101-26226, Aug70-Aug71, North American export, 1971 model year,
all cars fitted with evaporative loss control, overdrive optional.

:We means manual gearbox, centre gearchange, first gear fitted with
synchromesh
:H means high compression
R means Laycock de Normanville overdrive (optional)

now to the K your question...sorry, someone in the know will have to answer.
According to the same table of 18G engine nomenclature, there are models
listed for 18G, 18GA thru 18GK with some variants and some letters (18GC),
missing. Maybe Lawrie or someone can inform us of the particulars of the K
modification.
