Nomex not needed.  TLOR is a novel by Burt Levy about the early postwar sports 
car
world and redevelopment of roadracing.  Its a little slow to develop, but if you
have any interest in the golden era its well worth the read.  Burt has been 
working
on a sequel, which has just appeared.  John
