It's attitude, remember?  You just have to be willing to replace the rod
bearings occasionally.  There's really not that much oomph up there, hardly
worth the effort, except when it's autocrossing and only a few hundred feet
to the next turn and then not worth the time it takes to shift twice (which
only happens on about 3 out of 4 autocross dates).
