As for wipers: I would think white grease would be OK. I used wheel 
bearing grease. Probably only makes a difference ten years down the road. 
But maybe someone really knows...?

I had a shop do my windshield (after reading all the comments on the 
list), so I can't help on that. But there seem to be plenty of listers 
who have tackled it themselves...
