John, I have been using the powder coat system for about a year, using an oven,
not the ir lamp. Its good, but takes a bit of experimenting to get it right.
The powdercoat itself is quite durable, more so than any paint coating I have
experienced. Eastwood uses the same powder that the commercial coaters use.
They just buy it in bulk and sell it in small qunatities at a substantial
profit.
The ir lamp curing system does look a little shakey to me. John
