There was a lengthy discussion of this issue not too long ago. You might 
want to check the archive to get the whole story.


My impression of the consensus was "don't do it -- stick with the carbon 
bearing", but I won't bore everyone with the arguments and 
counter-arguments. Suffice it to say that, not every new-fangled 
"improvement" is necessarily a good investment.
