I missed the original post, but it was good to see someone else who had
a
Falcoon and actually liked it, what with all the Corvair fans around.
65 Falcon Tudor Sedan was my first car (my 79 B is my second) and it was
cheap
an fun. Sure it was primered and beat up, and yes it had holes in the
floors,
but it had AC and a radio, and was a blast to drive. That car ran and
ran,
and was never out of service for longer than a week (wish I could say
that for
my MG).
It was the Falcon that really messed up the Corvair--Americans wanted to
buy a
little american car, not the rear engnine, poor handling, oddly styled
corvair. Falcon sales were way ahead of the Corvair long before the
Mustang
came out.
Any other Falcon fans out there (or even Rancheroos?)? I would like you
to
compare Falcon fun to MG fun (MG content).
