Rust on an MGA

Ladies and gents-

                        I am in the process of redoing an MGA, and having a
mechanic/restorer do the majority....I was wondering how big of a deal it is
for the average mechanic to get rust out of the hood, body, etc...shouldl I
not buy the car if there is rust on it, or is that buffed and replaced out,
and is the car as useable....bottom line..tlak to me about rust....shoot me
aline when you get the chance and know the deal...thanks MG buffs
